「Jane is friendly and sincere. We were impressed by her welcome tea while we did the check in. She actively provided advice on the choice of restaurants in the area and helped us book a table for dinner at Northern Sands. Jane and Richard are nice guys with their lovely cat, Lona. Parking was available and if the car park was full, there is availability on the street」

「Easy parking on the street in front. ( In October) Great view of the harbour and lovely sunrise. The house is lovely, very clean, fully equipped and spacious over 3 floors. The washer and dryer are tucked under the stairs and very much appreciated by NC500 road trippers. The owner provided timely check in info. Thanks Adam! 」

「Very nice hotel, center of town, welcoming staff and the food was very good. Floors are a bit creaky due to buildings age. Thurso seems to be a stop for people going on to Orkney, but if i needed a base to see Caithness, i would stay at the Pentland. Single room reasonably priced.」
