“We loved Ritzy Roost- It was clean, beautiful and the location is fabulous. The kitchen had everything we needed and the building had elevator access, and friendly quiet neighbors. The deck was awesome for sunrises with coffee. My ONLY complaint- is that though the management company responds to requests, they don't do anything. Seriously. Two huge bags of dirty bed linens and towels from the guests before us sat on the front step in front of our door THE ENTIRE WEEK WE WERE THERE. After 3 days……

“My wife, son (age 13) enjoyed our stay in our first visit to the outerbanks. We are lifetime North Carolinians and finally made it the Outer Banks. We had a great time. The condo was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The home is well appointed. Parking is very easy in the garage with elevator access to the main floors. Right in the center of all the action and close for a day trip to Corolla or Hatteras. We spent our time exploring the Outer Banks, lounging by the pool, enjoying the beach and playing games. “Unfortunately, our room was not up to our standards. The bathrooms were not fully cleaned and the air conditioning went out twice. The day we came in (July 20, 2023), the upstairs units were 78 degrees and blowing warm air. Maintenance was called and showed up. We were told that it was repaired. It took several hours for those units to cool down. Because check in is 4:00, it took hours for these rooms to cool down to make sleeping comfortable. “Location is perfect! The stairs aren’t too big of a deal (our 3 and 4 year old managed just fine). The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and the washer and dryer in unit are very handy. Beds are super comfortable as well! We had a little lock snafu, but the folks at Vacasa helped us back in very quickly. As with other reviews, there were some cleaning things to mention - walls and floors definitely need some attention, but it’s nothing that would impact my family staying in the unit again……
