We were walking the Nakasendo Way and had a great time. The autumn weather was great and the countryside lovely. It’s a great way to see some traditional Japan.

Our experience with this hotel was overall good! Beautiful vista, food was great (strongly recommend doing a dinner reservation AND a breakfast reservation) owner was extremely kind and generous. He spoke better English than I spoke Japanese, which made it extremely easy to meet in the middle. 10/10 experience.

Perfect clean accomodation on the main street of Narai - closer towards the Shizume-jinja shrine. Thoroughly recommend for others to book and stay in.
