“Excellent for a one night stop before flight. Beautiful apartments set into the hillside overlooking Souda Bay. Incredibly modern, new and super clean. Very spacious rooms, equipped with all the essentials and also outstanding views. Staff are absolutely wonderful. Nothing was an issue for them. The receptionist was incredibly accommodating with my requests and really lovely to deal with. Wonderful small pool area which again, has an incredible view of Souda bay and the mountains. Well……

“We got a balcony like we asked for (though not guaranteed), and they allowed us to check in early when our room was available and clean. The room was nice, modern, and had just about everything we needed. The reception just downstairs was available at reasonable hours to accommodate however they could, whether that be extra towels or blankets. Oh, and the location is phenomenal, so close to amazing restaurants and bars (check out Lime), and the old venetian harbor is easily walkable (10-15min)!……

“This was one of the most charming, beautiful boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. Veronika went out of her way to help me get my suitcases up and down the steep stairs, gave me great local advice for food and adventure, and was super professional, polite, and friendly. The view from my room was exceptional. The only drawback was the noise level. I would stay there again. If you stay there, you must eat at Tamam - about a half block from Vranas!”

“We stayed in Pasiphae, the Avra apartment over two levels and with a balcony overlooking the harbour. It was amazing, without a doubt one of the best holiday apartments we have stayed in. “This was an amazing trip, the location is really nice and quiet, close to national road to take you to Chania, lovely town close by called Armenoi with butcher, cheese monger and nice restaurants, close to Kalives with beach bars restaurants etc. The host Stefanos is a lovely friendly man who will assist with any needs. He allowed us to check in nice and early and greeted us with a smile. He would come chat with us daily if he saw us sat outside. No noise at night which is amazing”

"The hotel had a 80s decor and vibe, but the not-so-modern outlook is totally, if not over compensated, by the impeccable service, cleanliness, view at the breakfast restaurant, quality of food, and the ample size of the swimming pools which provide more than enough room for everybody to enjoy. We have had an amazing time there! I paid extra for a side sea view room because the picture looks like a frontal sea view, but it wasn’t, and I probably would not have chosen the same room type next time. "
