"This was an amazing trip, the location is really nice and quiet, close to national road to take you to Chania, lovely town close by called Armenoi with butcher, cheese monger and nice restaurants, close to Kalives with beach bars restaurants etc.
The host Stefanos is a lovely friendly man who will assist with any needs. He allowed us to check in nice and early and greeted us with a smile. He would come chat with us daily if he saw us sat outside. No noise at night which is amazing"

Could do with slightly more foliage in between villa terraces for added privacy and the cleaner should sweep when changing towels etc..other than that the owners were extremely friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. Definitely need to rent a car. "

The food was exceptional and the dinner buffet very good value head and shoulders above most we have experienced in terms of quality and choice.
Very unusual for holiday hotels is the quality of the bedrooms and especially the bed.
Excellent in all respects apart from the MUZAK which is played morning noon and night and spoils the wonderful rooftop breakfast experience totally.

Villa Minoa With Small Private Beach And Surprising Sea and Mountain Views

"The place is amazing, even better than in the pictures. It is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and well provisioned with enough food and supplies to get you started. The host is very responsive, and generous with information and assistance. You can walk out of the garden and straight onto the idyllic beach, and come right back to chill in the yard. There are decent dining options a 5 minute walk from the house, so you really don’t need to get in the car to go anywhere during your vacation unless you want to. Chania is only about a 20 minute drive, and the airport even closer. We loved our stay and will probably be back again. "
"My husband and I spent a week here for part of our honey moon and couldn’t have been more impressed! It was truly the highlight of our trip. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL, the staff is amazingly attentive and friendly, amenities were outstanding, five stars all around! If you are looking for a place to stay around and relax, this is absolutely it. We didn’t want to explor Chania much, so this wasn’t an issue, but it is a bit far from the town. However, the hotel offers so many experiences to enjoy every day (wine tasting, snorkeling, water activities, cooking classes, a full spa, etc). "

"Lovely, bright, spacious villa, beautiful views. Almyrida is a lovely town with plenty of great restaurants to choose from.We hired a speed boat from Antonis Boat Rentals which was a holiday highlight. Kera beach is only a 10 minute walk from the villa, not much sand, but a lovely dip in the sea"
"Great service from booking through to our 2 weeks - excellent to have the villa cleaned and new bedding and bath towels provided twice during our stay - pool cleaned and rubbish taken away regularly. We had an issue with the dishwasher on our first evening- by the next day we had been given a temporary one and a new one was installed a day later.The villa its self has the most amazing views through out the day - you can spend many hours relaxing around the pool. Lovely taverna within walking distance - beach with beach bar 15 min walk. Kalives has all you need to dine in or dine out. Once you have found the turning off the road to the villa your fine - first time can be a bit tricky but directions given are useful. We had an excellent 2 weeks and loved exploring a new area "

"The hotel is perfect for a beachy, chilled holiday if that’s what you enjoy. The small town has some shops etc which is good and Chania is only a 30 minute drive away along with Souda which are beautiful towns.
Especially the Chania markets! A must go to if you love a bargain!
The hotel could be somewhat more clear on what is included etc. The hotel is amazing so don’t let that put you off but we were told the tourist charge was €10 euro per room, per night, which is correct but we were also charged extra and we’re unsure really what that was for.
Also we have been twice to this hotel, the first time when booking we had the option available to go all inclusive plus but the second time that option wasn’t available until we arrived at the hotel and it was quite steep compared to the first time we visited the hotel and with not much difference to the basic all inclusive package. After all a gin and tonic is a gin and tonic be that from the local gin or branded big name gin.
Overall though, lovely place to stay and the staff are amazing! So helpful and super polite! Will absolutely be back again! "
