“They told me they could not host me due to A/C problems in the hotel at check in (after a long travel) and sent me to another hotel from the same group (The Leslie), which turned out to be better (better location and recently refurbished). I would have appreciated earlier notice though. ”

“My only complaint about the hotel is that there is no elevator. I had to carry two heavy bags up a flight of stairs to get to my room. Otherwise, I loved it. The room itself was spacious and beautiful, the bathroom was gorgeous, and it was a great location for walking to restaurants, shops, and the beach. ”

“The location is good, the room is a bit small but ok. The major problem is the hidden fees, especially the request to pay for beach umbrella and chairs even if didn’t want to use them. Frankly, it is outrageous. ”

“I had a great stay overall. I slept very well, the location was fabulous, and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The only small issues were that the blackout curtains wouldn’t fully close and the ice machine was not working properly the night i stayed ( owner did let me know if i needed anything i can go to restaurant below, unfortunately my even wasnt over until midnight and restaurant was closed :( ) . Aside from that, everything else about the stay was wonderful. Money well……

“South Beach is cross the street! Nice Cuba restuarant is just downstairs! Our room is roomy and quiet. However, the room and bath are not very clean and the be is too soft.”

“Looked mostly like the photos. Amazing location right next to the beach and within walking distance of everything. Some parts of the room looked a little dated and worn but overall nice. Bed was super comfortable. Pretty clean but not perfect, some things in the bathroom were not cleaned in detail. Would recommend overall. ”

“No view of anything except alley. I don’t need a view I’m there to sleep. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Loved the 1930s decor and the old style music inside and more modern vibe outside. ”
