“Everything was great from start to finish. The room was well equipped, the beds were firm but comfortable. The pillows were probably some of the best I've ever had at a hotel. The breakfast was fabulous! Eggs made to order, fresh fruit, fruit juice, hot chocolate, coffee, bread with butter and cheese. Very good and filling. All of the staff were awesome and a special thanks to Andres (I apologize if I've misspelled his name), who gave us great tips on how to see the attractions we were……
“I was there 3 nights, then came back for 5 more. It is a lovely hotel, staff is great, and rooms are super comfy. Not to mention the fact that the house is absolutely beautiful :)”
“Amazing in everything. Staff was amazing. Very friendly and attentive. No words describe how amazing this hotel is. Location, price and staff and service ”
“Hotel Casa Montero is a solid choice if you want to stay in the historic center of Quito. The entry courtyard is tranquil and inviting, and the beds are quite comfortable. A particular bonus was the size and functionality of the bath/shower -- really impressive! The staff was fantastic -- very kind and helpful. Overall, I had a great time here!”
“This hotel is a beautiful place. Some rooms remain me my Mother in law house. I got the unique and only big suite with a panoramic View which I enjoy a lot. ”
“Mario and Blanca run a fantastic operation at Casa El Eden. We are just off a four-night stay with them and couldn’t be happier with our visit.
Mario could not have been kinder and more helpful. Want something specific? He can help. Laundry needed? Same day. Need a recommendation or info? Done - and/or he calls a friend. He really went out of his way to ensure that our every question was answered, and every need met. He helped arrange airport transportation both ways and even helped deliver……
“A nice boutique hotel with great staffs. Location close to old town. Bed is comfortable and breakfast tasty. Two minor issues with my single room. First being no wardrobe. Second the bathing area is too open and water do spill out and wet the floor a bit.”
“This was an amazing place to stay!! The history of the building was worth the stay itself, but it was clean and quiet. The managers made us feel like family!”
“It was a unique property, lots of charm. It says there’s a deli there or something. They sell drinks and some chips at the front but I think that’s it. When I checked in Yale was fantastic, sweet kind, and very helpful and knowledgeable. ”
“Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay.
We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury.”
“The staff were fantastic, they helped me see tour options and arranged the taxi pick up and drop off for the airport run. They explained where things were e.g. the metro station and where my pick up point was for a tour I was going on. They were really friendly and professional, always smiling and happy to help make my stay the best. The hotel itself was also amazing, the atmosphere was really good and friendly. I’ll recommend and will stay again if I’m ever back in Quito. It’s also very close……
“Loved the hostel. Has the historic rustic vibe. Have daily events and walking tour on board schedule. In or around the old historic town. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor.”
