「The pictures do not do this place justice. This place is amazing. The rooms are clean, spacious and very inexpensive compared to what you get. I would expect to pay $300-500 per night in a major US city for these rooms and we paid ~$150 per night. The staff is super helpful and the restaurant has amazing food and service. Highly recommended!」

「We stayed in 3 different properties during our trip, and while the property needs tic, the staff was amazing. We had a mishap with our inter island flight we were able to get in the night before, our room had the loft with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and a great view. To top it off, bfast was included but we would miss it the day of our departure, but the arranged for us a lunch box which was a special gesture that most hotels don’t do! The property is a perfect location and has amazing potential...

「Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut mit Blick auf die Marina. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und hat einen Balkon. Die Beleuchtung im Zimmer wird über eine Fernbedienung geschaltet, allerdings funktionierte dies nicht komplett. Die Meldung hierzu an die Rezeption wurde dort auch schriftlich dokumentiert, es hat sich aber - an beiden Tagen - nichts geändert. Mit viel Aufwand wurde dennoch im Schaltkasten eine Lösung gefunden, um wenigstens nachts im Badezimmer die Lampe auszuschalten. Selbst in einem 5*...

「The Hotel Illa is a good budget place in Angra. The rooms were cleaned each day and a good basic breakfast is provided. It is right in the heart of the Old town and close to the Marina. The staff were great! The negatives: No parking, needs some maintenance (peeling paint, rough closing doors etc) Can also be noisy in the mornings with pigeons and sliding furniture and banging doors. Still a good choice if you are not looking a 5*」

Shower overflows if you take too long though as it doesn’t drain quickly and the water spills out onto the floor…. Seems to be a consistent thing for all of Portugal though and it was the best feeling shower I had throughout all my trip. 」

「Stille og rolig sted (så lenge det ikke pågår arrangement) i utkanten av Angra do Heroísmo. Perfekt beliggenhet om man har leiebil. Her kan man ta utflukter i alle retninger! Hotellet er vakkert og stilfullt innredet og man får god frokost. Betjeningen er vennlig og serviceinnstilt. Det er også et flott basseng og en nydelig hage i tilknytning til hotellet.」

「Seven of us stayed in the house for a week after Christmas. The house is clean and very spacious, so there was lots of room for all of us. We made good use of the pool table, foosball table, indoor/outdoor fire places and the outdoor mini-football field. Walter and Priscilla were responsive and helpful hosts. Terceira is a great island, and everything is in easy driving distance. We enjoyed the location of the house, but it is a long walk, about an hour and partly through a more industrial area,...
