All Year Mountain/Sunset Views ~ Updated cabin ~ Best view in Lake Lure

You won't get these views via flat roads. 4×4 vehicles are not a necessity to reach the home, but we do recommend using a 4x4 vehicle if you do not feel comfortable navigating mountain roads. Mountain road leading to the cabin is packed gravel and can be bumpy and is steep. It takes 10-15 minutes up the mountain to reach the home. We recommend keeping a steady speed of 10-15 mph and keep driving without stopping on the gravel roads as that could cause ruts forming and will make it difficult to proceed forward. This is a mountain top home.
Cedar Rock Cabin is a stunning 5 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath with spectacular 200° plus year round views. Imagine the star gazing, sunrise and sunsets! The deck wraps around 3 sides, is both covered and open. Sit and rock in the chairs along with chaise lounges and a table with 4 chairs for eating outside. A propane grill is provided for the grill master. The views can be seen from all points on the deck and from within the cabin. Step inside to a wide open floor plan, a well stocked kitchen with updated appliances, and an island with 4 stools for the kids. The dining area seats 6. The Great Room has plenty of windows to let the sun shine in, along with 2 French doors leading out to the deck. 2 comfy couches, rocking chair, and large chair, along with flat screen TV, Dish TV, and a wood burning fireplace make for relaxing family time. There is also a half bath off the entrance hall. There is a master bedroom on the main level with an en-suite bath. Other bedroom with an en-suite bath is located upstairs. Heading downstairs are three bedrooms. Guest bedroom with Queen bed, Kids bedroom with 2 twin beds, and another Guest bedroom with Queen bed also. 2 full baths are located just outside the Guest bedrooms. One has pedestal sink with walk-in shower only, while the second also has pedestal sink but tub/shower combo. Washer and dryer are on this level in their own area. The family room boasts flat screen TV with Dish, pool table, 2 couches and 2 easy chairs. Nap time? French doors lead out to the ground level garden and the fire pit. S'mores are a must. NOTE: A mandatory non-refundable damage insurance fee ($59-$79 depending on the coverage) is applied to each reservation. This is a dog-friendly home. A $100 pet fee (plus tax) will be applied to your reservation if you plan to bring a dog with you. Maximum 2 dogs allowed. Pet Addenda must be signed. Dog(s) must be house trained. Sorry, no cats or other household pets are allowed. Guests are required to sign a Vacation Rental Agreement at the time of booking.
