“The house is beautiful, as is the surrounding landscape. The views from the hot tub of the mountains were amazing! We had a great time playing games by the fireplace and watching movies in the theater downstairs. Our group had a great time and would love to return, especially with how accommodating the management was when we had to go back after check out to retrieve something we left behind. 10/10 would recommend this stay!”

“If you are looking for a 4 Seasons or Hilton, this is not for you. But, if you want to stay in a mountain cabin, you can't do much better than this. I will say the ride up is not for the faint of heart but it is actually fun. The house had plenty of room for everyone, tons of movies, books, and games. A great fireplace with a blower. Internet and Direct TV can be challenging - but honestly that is not the reason we went up there. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful home.”

“Saddle View is everything described in the listing and much more. The Manor is very well appointed, the owners have thought of everything needed to make a stay at the Manor enjoyable and memorable. There are so many amenities, we couldn't work everything in this trip but hope to return and at least relax in the huge tub in the master and enjoy a calm evening on the back porch. “Nice location in proximity of West Jefferson and Lansing. The Lansing Creeper Trail Park was nice (go to the other side of the creek for a more rustic walk) and Mount Jefferson State Park Luther Rock spur had some fantastic views. It has no support. ☆Cleaners could have done a better job with the details. Examples: Refill soap dispensers with soap not water, provide at least one or two full replacement……

“Lovely location and setup. Worked well for people with bad knees (only one couple) with the main floor master. Kids. Loved the games downstairs and the bunk beds. Quiet, fully stocked kitchen. Worth coming back to.”

“Enjoyed this cozy cabin on beautiful riverfront lot. 15 minutes or so off the main road and would definitely want 4-wheel drive if visiting in winter. Walk out ground floor level is not included in the rental but plenty of space on main floor and in loft master suite. It is not a new property but is very clean and well maintained. Would definitely consider for a future visit.”

“The property is so beautiful. We walked the trails several times a day. Our dogs had a great vacation. They loved the freedom of the place. We heard the flying squirrels and were lucky enough to have one float past the window. Nearby we enjoyed the Grayson Highlands State Park. We did a short hike and got to see some wild ponies. The home is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner wants you to have a great experience.”
