"The staff were lovely, it was so easy to get to from the train station. The room was small but sufficient for an overnight stay. The breakfast was good value for money. Kindly sorted a parking space on the property as I think it was a quiet night. But there’s also a huge car park on the other side of the building.
More to do at the property than we realised. The communal area is brilliant. Don’t waste your money in the arcades as there’s loads to do at the hotel: pool, air hockey, table tennis, old school games table (pac man etc), sound system to choose your own music.
Also use of a fairly big kitchen so you could quite easily make dinner or breakfast at the property.
The rooms were really nice. Old Victorian seaside property but renovated and modernised tastefully with some lovely furnishings, cushions, chandelier etc.
So pleased we chose this over the holiday inn. We would 100% stay again and wish we’d checked in earlier to have more time to check out the spa area. "
