「Staff was great. My 3 star rating is only because there were no sign ups left when arriving for the 3PM check-in. Without this, for the sauna or infrared room; it leaves you to be "stealing time" where you can..(also feels a bit absurd for the rate you pay.) I had to scramble out of one solo sauna after first finding it empty, because a couple had booked it, and they told me they were also booked for the infrared (double dipping also leaves others without.) 「If you are allergic to a cat, there is a lot of cats… I booked through Expedia. Upon arrival, the front desk couldn’t find my reservation and insisted on creating a new one with my card. After much insistence, they located it but had no room ready, forcing me to wait. Placed in a room with a strong urine smell (likely dog) in the bathroom. No room number signs in the hallway, and the same odor was in the main first-floor bathroom. No Wi-Fi password provided. Breakfast was okay. Photos on Expedia...

「Fabulous property that feels like a remote getaway but has lovely amenities and nice touches of rustic luxury. This hotel is 5 years old but feels brand new. The restaurant is excellent. The included breakfast buffet is one of the very best I’ve ever had. They are building a spa near the lake. The hike around the lake is peaceful. Will definitely be back to this hotel.」
