“Much nicer than a hotel room!”

“We had a nice stay, but unfortunately when we left on Easter Sunday we came back our cooler was stolen off of the porch. I left it out only to dry out.”

“This apartment is beautiful. It’s in a fully finished basement with a kitchenette, private bathroom, in a lovely suburban home. Very clean, comfortable, private patio/entrance. Safe neighborhood, large mature trees. Amenities provided of bottled water, coffee & creamer, snacks. My daughter and I attend the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. The drive to Howard County Fairgrounds was about 25 minutes. The apartment is very close to Frederick with lots of quaint shops and restaurants. The hosts……

“We found the apartment to be clean and comfortable. It has a nice soaking tub. The only reason we would probably not rent again is because of the cooking pots and pans. They should of been thrown away a long time ago. If you don't plan on cooking any meals including breakfast it would great place to stay.”

“Very nice apartment and great location. Apartment is well appointed for a long or short stay, with everything needed for comfort, including a small desk for working (this was a "working" trip). With family in the area, we will be back and this is a perfect spot for a getaway. Very clean and quiet.”

“Everything was convenient and clean. The shower was a challeng since the area was quite compact but everything else worked out very well for us. Our contact was very helpful as the directions that were qiven to us on the app were on the opposite end of our street and the Canal was interesting to navigate to the address needed but Laura was so helpful and patient with us and made sure that we located it and were safe.”

“Stayed during Christmas holiday while visiting family. Property is large and had plenty of room even when we hosted Christmas dinner for immediate family. Since I was cooking, the kitchen was very important. Grace’s kitchen is stocked with good quality dishes, pans and tools. This was our second stay at Chateau Ridge and it won’t be the last.”

“Cute place to stay in downtown Frederick. We enjoyed walking carroll creek park to breweries & all around downtown Frederick. The shops and restaurants are so fun to explore.”

“The space was ideal for me. Wish i could have stayed! The property had 2 nice features that made the most impact, the bed and the shower head. The living room couch isnt very comfortable but still worked. Listing says only dogs under 20lb is allowed and it's the neighborhood rule, but there are many very large dogs in the neighborhood. That was a little disappointing.”

“Has everything you will ever need for a stay in Frederick. Jimmy and Ms Ambrose are very responsive if you ever need anything. This is within walking distance to downtown and would recommend for a stay in Frederick.”

The breakfast basket was such a personal touch and there was even a welcome gift bag for each of us. They thought of everything. Can't even decribe how comfy the bed and pillows were. “We had previously visited Frederick last November and had only been able to spend a little bit of our visit in Historic Frederick. We loved staying in historic Frederick and the property was unique, very clean and well laid out. I should have realized was that 'penthouse' in a historic home would mean steps. I am blind in one eye and have poor physical balance so carrying luggage up stairs is challenging. Nonetheless, we loved the layout and amenities of the property. The view from the deck was……
