“A lovely stay. We were warmly greeted and told our room was ready for us, hours before check in time. Had a delicious lunch and breakfast both of which were good value. Our room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Would stay there again in we are ever in the area again.”

“A nice family stay, quiet village pub. The host was very helpful including recommending an evening meal in the next village which was great (fighting cocks pub). It seems the venue has stopped doing food, but having said that she still provided us with a perfectly good breakfast. The room was clean, a nice little street village view, we all slept well. Great for country walking, a family visit and somewhere quieter in a local pub.”

“We stayed for a night for my birthday and my father in laws birthday and we spent the afternoon in front of the fire which was so cosy and relaxing. We then had dinner and had the famous ribs…we were all blown away by the quantity and quality of meat. The staff were incredibly friendly! The room we stayed in was huge and comfortable. Definitely will be returning! A fabulous stay. ”

“I would like to point out that this property is not in Grantham but in South Witham, Grantham. This makes a great deal of difference and took us much longer to find and right out of our way. I suggest you correct this. The address given by you takes you to different part of the area and is confusing. So please correct it and add South Witham to the full address. ”

We were greeted by a cheerful member of staff and the room was clean, but in need of sprucing up. The window sash cord was broken, the carpet frayed and the shower door did not close. The hotel could neither control the smell from adjacent sewer works or the intermittent noise from the associated generator through the night nor that from passing clubbers through to the early hours the……
