“Casa Mónica is a great place to stay at because of the location and staff. Property needs to be refurbished. Rugs are dirty. Ceiling and walls have cracks. Shower makes a lot of noise and hot water doesn’t really get that hot. Stayed next to the elevator and it was extremely noisy. Can also hear all the noise going on outside. Definitely not what it used to be especially for the prices being paid. Really a shame.”

“This hotel would merit a five stars but the staff is very untrained and overwhelmed. We ran out of towels at the pool, out of coffee during breakfast and each time you asked someone they seemed overwhelmed not knowing what to do. The breakfast à la carte is very very limited without a waiter who actually knows how to take orders. Everything was so slow and it was not even busy! Very limited table seating for breakfast. Pool very small. Somehow it looks like they build a big hotel without……
