"We had to change rooms to a smaller cheaper room as the one we were given had a shower which wouldn’t turn off and was leaking. Whilst it was good they could move us we were not offered any kind of recompense for us having to move to a smaller cheaper room, after we had paid extra for the one we booked! Even a free drink or breakfast would have been accepted but nothing …. Which was a shame!"

"We had an excellent stay, hotel and grounds beautiful, clean and well maintained. Our room had everything we needed. Staff very pleasant and helpful and all looked very smart in their uniforms, which is nice to see. Our only downside was lack of transport, taxis are very hard to get, and public transport very scarce. We would definitely recommend and will be paying a return visit"

"What a treat to be able to stay in such a wonderful little cosy cottage which has everything you require. As for the outside space truly magical with the stream running along the side of the garden and wildlife truly glorious.Highly recommend ."
