Ellary harbour is close by and is suitable for boating families. There is direct access to the Farm walk and all of the other walking areas starting from the Cottage.
Ellary is close to both the Kintyre Trail down the Kintyre Peninsular and also the Argyll Coast trail and there is almost too much choice of activates and highlights to try to fit into a week's holiday. Ellary Estate is a wild life haven with the chance to see fox, badger, otter, roe, sika and red squirrel in the oak woods and on the loch shores. Higher up the hills you will be unlucky if you are not able to watch the herds of grazing majestic red deer.
The area is one of outstanding unspoilt natural beauty and Ellary provides the perfect location for a quiet get away from it all peaceful holiday.
