Classy place to stay

Staying with Laura at the Georgian House worked very well for us. Her communications were quick and responsive. Having a kitchen area was a real plus as was the large bathtub. The apartment was lovely with many nice design touches. The location was convenient to a tube stop as well as a grocery store. There were many eateries available within walking distance.

Charming Character

Laura was a breeze to communicate with. The check-in process was silky smooth. The place is very elegant, beautifully appointed. For the UK, the space was exceptional, flooded with light with a charming balcony. It is .3 miles from the nearest overground station that feeds directly into the Underground, making access to everything easy without being in the crushing touristy areas. We returned here via tube late at night after the theater with no issues. Thanks Laura, for the beautiful space and lovely stay.

Absolutely amazing stay

We are 3 adults (a family) and stayed here for over 2 weeks. Laura was an amazing host. Very friendly and available if you need her. The location is fantastic- 5 minutes to the underground, close to the bus stop, 5 minutes walk to Sainsbury’s for groceries and a great local pub, The William. We would completely recommend staying here and would happily come back again. Thank you Laura x

Fantastic Base to Explore London

This lovely house worked very well for our family of four, two adults and two kids. The house is lovely and comfortable. It's an easy walk to the Kensal Green Tube station, or you can catch a double-decker bus on the same block as the house. We enjoyed playing ping pong and watching movies when we weren't out on the town. Laura was a helpful and warm host. We highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment

Everything was lovely. Communication was great and Laura left a very nice basket of goodies! Location a bit further out than where we’ve stayed previously but the tube stop was nearby. One caveat when taking the tube with luggage-be aware there are lots of steps and no elevator. Wonderful overall.

Gracious host and loveliest of homes

What a beautiful and unique stay ! The end of our trip in UK was a delight with this three night treat. Laura was warm and accommodating in every way from the gift basket of goodies to directions. My guys enjoyed the ping pong table in her garage/gym as well as as a little nap on her sundeck on the top floor. The upstairs was a gorgeous bedroom suite. We found transportation quite easy with a short walk to fun tavern for our last dinner. Lovely in everyway!

Excellent home away from home

The flat in the Georgian House was very well-appointed, our host Laura thought of everything. It is close to buses and underground/overground and we visited some very nice restaurants in the area. The bed was very comfortable and Laura was available quickly if we had any questions. After a busy Christmas with family, this was a welcome respite and a good base for exploring London. There is a large Sainsbury's close by for groceries. The weather was too brisk for sitting outside but this would be a bonus on warmer days. One of the best places we have stayed on our many visits to the UK.

WONDERFUL HOME AWAY FROM HOME!

We rarely provide reviews regardless of our opinion. We have traveled far and wide. This fully private apartment within a gated grand old home is beautifully furnished and decorated, well outfitted, spotless and spacious. It has everything and everything works! This apartment is an extraordinary value especially compared to other close in London vacation rentals. Best of all the owner/manager is a lovely, generous, accommodating, responsive person while in no manner intrusive. You will not regret booking this lovely place. We enjoyed our two weeks and are thankful.

Lovely stay!

Laura was such a joy to work with! She answered all of our questions, met us upon arrival, and showed us how everything worked. She even had a basket full of goodies to get us started. Her place is absolutely wonderful!! It is clean, elegantly decorated, and spacious. We were incredibly comfortable there. Also, it is very conveniently located to the subway. It took only a few minutes walk in a peaceful, beautiful neighborhood to get to the tube. Additionally, there is a market store very close and had all we needed and more. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Not to mention, she is a lovely person and we are better for knowing her.

We enjoyed our stay. Laura is friendly and responsive and the unit where we stayed was clean and inviting. The property is located a little over a five minute walk from the Bakerloo line which will get you to Embankment station, which is very close to Trafalgar Square, in 20-25 minutes. There is also large Sainsbury’s grocery store less than a 10-minute walk from the property.

Hit the Jackpot!

Great place! Two levels, private, quiet, artistic and clean interior, very kind host, super comfortable bed, bath, etc. It is in a quiet area and you can still get to several close bus lines and tube station. This place was perfect. Can’t say enough positive things.

Our luxurious stay

The Georgia house was spectacular. It was like stepping back in time, but having the luxuries of the present, the decorations, the location the neighbourhood, we felt as though we were in a dream. A short walk to the tube and a short tube ride to all of the wonders and attractions that you go to London for. And the Cherry on top of this wonderful trip was our host Laura. So open and welcoming so full of wonderful advice on destinations and places to see. we look forward to coming back.

Beautiful and secure property

Laura was an outstanding host. She had a magnificent gift basket with snacks and the best brioche bread. She made sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything.The property was excellent for our stay while visiting our son and daughter-in-law.The location being close to the Kensal Green tube made getting around the city very easy.

Comfortable and Relaxing

Wonderful stay

Laura was there to meet us upon arrival and help us get the car in to the garage, which was very good of her. The beautiful apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The short walk to the tube made it easy to get to all the attractions.
