Our original room was given away and we were given a room with super steep stairs. The floor in our room was super dirty. There were bugs in the tub and ants on the bed . The gate to the pool did not work. The pool chairs were all tossed together in a pile . The breakfast door was locked and you could only enter if an employee let you in . The cooler case in there was never filled. The good part is all staff were very helpful

Good price in an overpriced city.
Basically you get what you pay for and in LA that means pretty much nothing at this price point, so do not complain or be surprised. The building is flimsy at best with walls so thin you have little privacy. But room was clean. Definitely pick this hotel for the price and have corresponding low expectations.

The property is run down. The lock on the door didn’t work. The 3rd balcony feels like it’s leaning and the elevator is terrifying. It automatically shuts on you without any kind of notice. The room wasn’t the cleanest. We found empty cans under the bed and some random socks. The hot tub bubbles do not work. Soda machine doesn’t work. There are also lots of spider webs with black widows and my daughter ran into large rat on the stairs. Apparently he’s terrified of the elevator as well. Otherwise, the staff was really nice and the area was really quiet.

Soda and water machine not in good working condition, food store at lobby not accessible. If you need water or snacks you would have to drive three blocks to the nearest store. pool area not working, building is a bit run down but good for the price. Area is safe. Rooms are clean. Staff is attentive and available. ‘Deluxe’ rooms face Colorado Blvd so they are an excellent option during Rose Parade

The goods: The staff was very nice and attentive. Very professional. The towels and sheets and room were clean. The room did not have any bad smells and the AC worked almost too well. It is close to places to eat in walking distance. The neighborhood is safe. Other guests aren’t of the shady nature.
The bads: The toilet seat in 305 had a stain on the seat that looked pretty bad.
The pool is kind of small but was not too cold, so that was good. The hot tub was not hot only warm and the jets did not work. Big hot tub though.
I missed breakfast by 10 min so go early before 9:30am. The gentleman was nice enough to get me a coffee even though I was late. So I appreciate that.

The staff was amazing. Let me say that first the rooms are not really up-to-date in our room. The TV did not work. The light did not work and the HVAC system did not work. The staff was friendly and try to assist but we’re unsuccessful. We did end up getting a TV in the end. There were roaches crawling around the bathroom like a lot. They tried to tell us that they were outside roaches, but working in property management I have seen enough roaches to know the difference.

Check in went smoothly, but when I got to my room I immediately noticed that the sliding mirror doors for the closet were off their track and about to fall. When I tried to call the front desk the room phone didn’t even have a dial tone. I returned to the front office and the clerk on duty (Andy) did immediately come to my room and fix the doors. I wasn’t confident that they would stay on track, so I never used the closet or touched the doors.
Later when I went to watch the TV it didn’t work. After much tracing down of all the cords, I finally got it connected and working.
Not a good beginning experience of this motel.
The room was comfortable and included a microwave and mini-fridge.
The furniture was basic and well used. But the room was clean and there were plenty of towels.
The price was reasonable and reflected the non-luxury nature of the accommodations.
