“We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and kind. The breakfast was a great spread including homemade pesto. We were staying for a concert and the next morning they were playing the band’s music at breakfast which we thought was a sweet touch. Very well located for train travel too. “The room is big, clean and well-equipped. The tiny garden just outside breakfast area is beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast is simple but fresh. Staff are nice and helpful on giving information and advice, e.g. Elena is hard-working and problem-solving. Manuela cooks for guests' breakfast. Paolo drove me to the train station when he saw my big luggage and knew that my backbond suffered from pain. This hotel is not in the very center of Lucca but still convenient enough, as the old town which is……

“The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. I can't say enough great things about our hostess and her mom. They we absolutely sweet and wonderful people. The next time, I will use La Chiuso Delle Monache……

“A very unforgettable Lucca B&B.The location is only 15 minutes' walk from the old city.The accommodation is an old-fashioned villa with three floors, with its own independent yard and parking space.Breakfast here is also very rich, comparable to a 3-star hotel, but please don't forget that the price here is less than one third of that of the hotel.In short, this B&B has given me a lot of surprises, and I will choose to live here if I come to Lucca again next time.”

“This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Lucca, 10 minutes from the station, although a little climb to get through the city walls. The continental breakfast was welcome, although a little strange that you had to approach the staff for a coffee or hot water rather than the other way round.”
