From the main street to apartment was 270 stairs. the room was small but functional, the “kitchen” was useable for quick easy meals like a small breakfast or snacks. the stove was a single burner cook top, but worked well. the bed was somewhat comfortable but barely off the floor. if you have issues getting up and down or bad knees/back this probably isn’t the place for you. there’s no lift and it’s a good hike into city. we walked into the city and used uber back at night. for uber pick up and drop off we used the hotel that was directly across the street.we were supposed to check in at 4 however the room wasn’t cleaned. we were allowed to leave our luggage but of course we had to leave. we were about an hour to hour and half late on the check in.the room also smelled of inscense which was not pleasant and lead to a headache. we had to leave the windows open to try and air it out. not sure if the housekeeper burned it or if previous tenants did it. hopefully it’s not the normal smell! the owner said it was an old building smell, nope!if you have an early morning flight you might want to consider moving from this place the night before as it’s a bit of a drive to airport.overall, we would not stay here again.
