“Great size, very clean. The posted pictures do not do this camp justice! Lots of upgrades and Beth is very responsive. Beautiful cove with little traffic. Sounds of loons day and night. Great bass fishing too! There is a wonderful dock but be sure to bring your own water toys. Great place for children with neighbors that encourage lots of kid play, exploring/adventuring, and boisterous fun.”

“Like the description says, there’s parking off a dirt road then about a 10 minute canoe ride to the property. My kids enjoyed the canoeing, it was an adventure when getting back at night but for us it was a lot of fun. The cabin is beautiful and offers a lot of amenities but it’s solar powered and fresh drinking water comes from bottles. There’s a sink for washing hands and dishes but it’s non-potable water. “This home is fully furnished and lacks nothing. The beds are comfortable, linens and towels clean and not worn/frayed/stained. Kitchenware was in newer condition. The lake is a beautiful setting. Although it is in a wooded area, the property is sprayed early in season and was not an issue. GPS took us right to address. Amy was a terrific host. I actually left my personal salt and pepper mill behind as another guest tucked it away in a cupboard and I missed it when packing. Amy was prompt to……

“This cabin is lovely - a beautiful location, very comfortable. Pam and Larry are great hosts; very communicative and helpful. We had a very relaxing stay overall. We had some unfortunate timing, with the lake experiencing a persistent algae bloom that made the water inaccessible to swimming or water sports, but we made the best of it - exploring other area lakes and ponds for swimming (in particular, McGrath Pond had a hidden gem of a local swimming spot!), I would highly recommend this……

“We very much enjoyed staying in your cabin! Your attention to detail was amazing and greatly appreciated. We have rented numerous in Maine and yours is by far the best! We had a snow/ice storm and we were nice and warm and cozy! No problems getting in and out thanks to your prompt removal. We are looking forward to coming back!”

“If you want a serene, quiet getaway, you will enjoy staying on Sand Pond as did we. A highlight is to paddle out on the pond and observe the loon family. A fun outdoor place to eat is the Farmhouse Beer Garden about 15 minutes away. Lobsters from Moshers were good but they don’t package them properly. They put them in a paper bag so be sure they put the bag in a plastic one or the bottom will break through. Powder House Hills Trails in Farmington is a nice pretty place to hike and fairly easy.……

“Family of 4 stayed at this property july 4th week. The lake is BEAUTIFUL and quiet!!!!! Bit of a loud party house next door but it was the week of the fourth… House is perfect for a quiet retreat. The stairs are a little scary (narrow/steep) but after time they seem normal. Love it and look forward to coming back!”

“Itvstarted with a 24 hour notice due to our original house being flooded for the storm. They fot us in a day later to this smaller yet spacious lakehouse with many little surprises! We enjoyed the large master suite with the clawfoot tub. The outside sauna was a blessing and the wood stove! The the renovations were lovely.
