“We were welcomed warmly by Greg who explained what we needed to know and showed to our room. The room is as nice as any room I have stayed in and I’ve stayed at the Mandarin Oriental!! The bedding was Luxurious and the bed wonderfully comfy. With tea and coffee making facilities in the room with fresh milk, I hope I have a reason to return. Absolutely 5 Stars”
“This a brilliant pub. Can't fault it at all. First choice place for me when in the area. Host will ask you what time you want your breakfast. What's not to like?”

“This is a delightful cottage for 1 or 2 people. Sofas and bed are comfortable; shower room stylish with a great sized shower. And with lovely underfloor heating toes were toastie all weekend. I was able to entertain friends in a relaxed informal environment which was great.”
“Both the chord for the window blind and the light in the bathroom had snapped off. You had to be a least 5 foot tall to turn it on. I had to pull the bed out to plug my bedside lamp in. There were not enough electrical points in the room.
They were not doing breakfasts either which was disappointing. The overall appearance would be described as tatty especially the bathroom with tatty paint work on the door surrounds and radiator.
The shower was good the beds clean and the towels were fresh.”
