The entire property was exceptionally clean, from the rooms to the common areas, and it was clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining everything to a very high standard. “Great view from the room and the cafeteria/restaurant. The mountain and the river behind are spectacular. The room itself is quite nice and big as well. However, the only public transportation to get to the hotel is by bus. Even it is only three minutes walk to downtown, still strongly recommend to rent a car if you would like to explore more in the neighborhood. The hotel has its own underground parking lot. So it is not a problem for parking.”

“The family atmosphere is wonderful. The staff are the owners and they really make you feel welcome. The room was immaculate and beautifully designed, the pool area was small but very comfortable, and the son of the owners is so helpful. He gave us excellent advice. It’s about a 15 minute drive up from or down to Pinhao but the drive itself is spectacular. I highly recommend this place.”

“Excellent facilities and outstanding food & wine. We much enjoyed our two nights stay here. On a scale of one to ten this is a clear 9. Only those tiny details refrain us from a ten. Such as the wine tour where we met in time but it had started. Down at the parking check-in all good but some improvements perhaps when guests are down there during the stay for other reasons such as a waiting for a cab. Felt a little lost when you are kind of overlooked. Still, all in all our warmest……
