TWO BLOCKS TO BEALE STREET... says it all. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. You get what you pay for. Don't even consider somewhere that's more than a couple blocks from Beale, trust me, it's not worth it because a few blocks make a HUGE difference in downtown Memphis. This place is also 2 blocks from the Mississippi River.

This townhouse is on MAIN STREET right at Vance Avenue (map it) and only 2 blocks to Beale. The trolley goes right by the front of this place as do the horse drawn carriages. This new and luxury 2800 SqFt townhouse has a colorful and fun vibe. It features 6 bedrooms. This place has a GATED driveway leading to the 2-car garage. I own these three townhouses in a row if you have a very large group.

You will LOVE this place and will NOT want to leave.

This property no longer exists and we had to be moved to a different property. The host was extremely attentive and very kind. But the new property that we got moved to was depressing and like a vault. It was huge and spacious, but it did not bring the warm friendly feel as the other place. It was also very out-of-the-way And not in the flow of the downtown area, which was disappointing to our group.

Great location near Beale street in the heart of downtown Memphis. There was plenty of room for my group of 4. It is accross the street from a bar/restaurant and near many others. The only downside was street noise as many of the bars closed at 3 am and there was a fair bit of people and car noise late at night.

This house was perfect location to walk to Beale Street, easy drive to restaurants for breakfast. The house was comfortable for our family of 11 adults. Any communication with our host was answered quickly. I'd definitely recommend this house!

Memphis Girl's Weekend

The property is very well maintained and clean and is near Beale Street and other downtown Memphis attractions. However, nighttime street noises and sirens made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Know that there are stairs to get up to bedrooms located on 2nd & 3rd floor, which were not mentioned in the description or shown in the photos. The trolley stop which we planned to use has not been working for over a year.

Great Location to major attractions

Very spacious , comfortable, and clean residence within walking distance to Beall St, the Fed Ex Forum, the Arcade Cafe, and the Lorraine Hotel/ Civil Rights museum. Nice that there was a 2 car garage. Felt safe walking to everywhere. Good directions from host. Only downside was the street noise at night( cars with loud mufflers, drag racing, loud music and loiterers) if you had the rooms street side. Had no problems with the stay. Would stay here again if in the area.

Great spot

Lovely place, great location, great restaurant across the street, wonderful hosts. The hosts were very communicative throughout. The place itself was great. The location is fantastic. We walked to a Grizzlies game, the Peabody for the ducks, it was all very close and accessible. Great experience, would recommend.

Great stay!

If I could give it 6 stars I would!The location could not have been better! Basically in the middle of everything I wanted to do. Unfortunately the trolley service is suspended (but that's not the property's fault) still walkable for most of the attractions.The host was super responsive and friendly, house rules are basic and easy to follow; don't break stuff, be clean, be respectful and and help out by washing your dishes and starting the towel laundry.I will point out that the bedroom setup is a little interesting. If you are coming with a large group make sure that people are comfortable with sharing spaces and/or sleeping in rooms without windows. This wasn't an issue for us, but it is truly 4 bedrooms with some creative uses of other spaces. If your group is close it won't be an issue. Besides, you won't be there for anything more than sleeping because the neighborhood has too much to offer.Book this gem of a stay while you can.

Great place for visiting Memphis

We were two couples and really loved the decor of this place from the moment we walked in. It's enormous--three bedrooms on both the second and third floor, so there was no difficulty in finding a place to store our luggage. The kitchen was heavily used for breakfast, but for other meals there was nearby Beal Street, a local restaurant acoss the street, and a brand new restaurant (Gourmet Gallery, 412 S. Main) that we especially liked. The garage took away any worries about our vehicle when we weren't using it to visit the famed Memphis studios.

House was as described and was great for a big group even with small children. Host was very responsive when we had questions and gave us an early check-in. Only downside is that the area is pretty noisy at night on the weekends (expected for downtown but just be aware).

Colorful property close to everything

If you're traveling with friends and family, this colorful property is spacious, comfortable and situated close to all the the sights and sounds. Bars and restaurants close by and a short drive to groceries. Andy was helpful and quick to respond to our questions. Two thumbs up from us!

Great location!

Tons of room and very comfortable stay. Close to so many historic sites and museums and most just a quick trolley ride. The place was clean and well kept. Three stories of stairs so keep that in mind when considering. Would stay again.

Location of property was in an excellent location for male family members to relax and attend a Redbirds game, visit historic sites, shopping and entertainment of Beale Street - all within walking distance starting directly accross the street.
