Nice, with an Unusual Layout

This was a nice little property. The spiral staircase is cool, but not kid friendly. Rooms on multiple floors better for older children, but everything was nice! No gathering area in main floor, but options above and below. Great for a family with teens because it’s close to everything. Owners very responsive.

Great location, walk or bike to beaches, easy access to Newport.

Comfortable place. Very accurate description on VRBO. Not high end, just the basics, but it has everything you need for a lovely stay. I appreciated how much it felt like a real lived in home with all the amenities one uses in a real house...hooks, plenty of lamps, everything you might need was working and available...fully stocked kitchen, etc. We really enjoyed the upper deck with table and chairs. My husband and I sat outside every morning in the shaded chairs on the deck...it was lovely. We ate numerous meals there as well. There is no central A/C so you are using window units, but most rooms had units with the exception of the lowest level with one bedroom, but it tended to be cooler down there and they provided a fan. My son had no problem sleeping. And the two bedrooms on main floor share a bathroom...there is no master bathroom. We also enjoyed the upper TV room with the sectional sofa....it was a very comfortable room to lounge in, read, watch TV. Again, comfortable and spacious place ---not high end, but has all that you need. We loved the convenient location. We got take out several nights, went out for outdoor dining in Newport several times, and I also cooked several meals. We enjoyed riding our bikes to Second Beach ---a bit nicer than Easton Beach. We loved going on runs on Esplanade Rd - Tuckerman with the views of the beach...stunning. We walked to Cliff Walk. We took many bike rides. We went berry picking. All in all - a fabulous week away. Owner was extremely responsive, answered all questions quickly, and was a pleasure interacting with....recommend without hesitation.

Perfect Location

The house is a close walk to the beach and restaurants. It's short drive to Newport. We enjoyed the roof top deck very much.

Good value

The home is exactly as stated in listing. The large deck has a nice water view and breeze. The beds were comfortable with extra blankets if needed. I loved the short walk (10 min) to the beach and continued on to the cliff walks for my morning walk.

Great location!

The owner was very nice. The property is less than a 5 minute walk to both the beach and the restaurants. This was key for my family. Kitchen was well equipped and deck was wonderful. Only drawback was that the spiral stairs to the living room and deck would not be suitable for young children or anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise a great place.
