"The Asante Inn is a beautiful small property. The staff were very kind and helpful. They provided good meals for breakfast and dinner (added charge), with many options. The staff gave us a short tour of the property when we checked in. The gardens are beautiful and the onsen was easy to reserve and very nice as well. My only complaint is the pillows are quite hard but that is a personal preference. Overall, great experience. "

With a bit of planning, you can take a local bus or use your Hakone Free Pass to be dropped off within a block of the hostel from the train station.
