Great View!!! Condo was just like the pictures and fully stocked. Just a short 2 min walk across the street to the beach and several restaurants walking distance to the condo. Check in and out process simple.

Nicest time away home

It was a nice and peaceful vacation, the apartment location is great, it was all renovated and looks cozy and beautiful. The property is very organized and amenities are great. Even though the street in front of the building the noise front it didn’t bother us at all and the view of the ocean was awesome. We plan to come back next year.

Majestic Sun

Our room was very nice, completely updated with a beautiful view of the Gulf. The washer and dryer in the unit definitely needs an upgrade, very musty smelling and old. The pool definitely needs to be cleaned, always had dirt and debris floating and the tiles were grimy and needed a good scrubbing. The outside pool was also very chilly, too cold for young children.

Reviewer Comments: This was my first stay at Majestic Sun and my first booking with Glass Casa and they were so nice and professional everyone in the office were so friendly and attentive made me feel so comfortable being there . We needed batteries for the remote they immediately came to bring them one day I went to the office to ask for toilet paper cause we ran out and they gave it to me they couldn’t be nicer always a smile on their face . The unit was like new so clean and spacious and nicely decorated I would stay here again . I really do like this whole resort area the Seascape properties are nice .

There were only 2 issues we had... the balcony door would not lock and the dryer did not work. We submitted a request to have them fix and they quickly contacted us about the issues. Everything you need for a week stay. I'm already looking at booking it again.

Love Majestic Sun

We are just departing after a week long stay. We have visited Destin multiple times and stayed at Majestic Sun every time, each time in a different condo. The location is perfect, accessibility to the beach is perfect, the pool area is wonderful and the beach is gorgeous and well maintained. We really liked 304B and would definitely stay again. Clean, nicely decorated, had everything we needed. This was the lowest floor we stayed on and with the master bedroom on the front there was some noise from the road when trying to go to bed. The only other issue was the upper bunk bed mattress was not comfortable at all. Other than those minor issues, our stay was wonderful and we will definitely be back. A few restaurant recommendations-Buffalo Jacks has the best wings in the world, Whales Tail is a must have and Another Broken Egg Cafe was awesome for breakfast/brunch.

Reviewer Comments: This is our 4th time staying in this area and second time staying in this building. 304B was by far the nicest and cleanest condo we've stayed in. I do agree with another review that the unit lacked drawer space but that is the only tiny thing I can complain about. There is plenty of closet space. The pictures are exactly how the unit looks in person. Since we stayed in December I can't speak to any beach services. We were steps from the beach, pool and even a short walk to a restaurant right on the beach. Our family regularly used the pool and hot tubs. We will definitely try to stay in this exact unit during our next trip down.

Perfect Vacation Home

I wouldn’t have to say more, because that describes this beautiful condo in one word, but I will mention some of the great details:We arrived in the evening, after a long travel (from Germany) and were glad, we didn’t have to wait anywhere to check in- with the key code you can go straight to the apartment. It was as clean as can be, furnished very thoughtfully and decorated very nicely. We had everything we needed. Beachchairs and umbrella worked out great. It is just a short stroll to this paradise beach. The kitchen is newly furnished and had more than we expected. Towels to use where clean and soft and we had more than enough. Not only did we love the condo, the whole building was very clean, very nice and there was always somebody taking care of everything. We where there during the off season, so the pool and beach were not crowded at all. And- we did see dolphins from the balcony!We stayed for ten days and will definitely be back. We will not even think about renting another apartment. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your place!

Rent A Golf Cart

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was clean and had stylish decor. King bed was not comfortable. Felt like you were going to roll off and this was on both sides. AC cooled the place well. Location was ok if you don’t mind noise. The traffic along scenic 98 was noisy. That being said, it is convenient to some eateries, and shops. We really enjoyed the golf cart because you can drive it on scenic 98. We went for coffee at Badass coffee every morning. If you have any physical limitations, the walk to the beach is not easy. The steps down to the beach are very steep and it’s a long walk across the sand to the umbrella and chairs setup. I do recommend renting those as well. The pool is small for such a large building and it was always packed. The June Grass was horrible in the gulf for almost the whole week. Research it. It’s nasty. That’s nature and can’t be helped but if you book in June, just know it could be present. One more thing about Majestic Sun, there never seemed to be anyone working the front desk. That was frustrating. We love Destin, and have stayed at several different complexes. We will probably pass on Majestic Sun next trip and book something directly on the beach.

Okay Beach Getaway fromn

Overall, we were relatively pleased with our stay at the Majestic Sun 304B condo, but we will likely not stay there again. Below is a summary of the pros and cons we experienced as a young couple with a nearly 2 year old. PROS: - The view was great; the unit faces the beach. - There is a very short walk to the heated indoor pool. - There is a very short walk to the beach across the street. - Is in a quiet area (at least when we traveled in late Sept/early October.) - The condo and the overall property/grounds were clean. - Is within walking distance of a couple of beachfront bar/restaurants (the rest we had to drive to) - Has updated decor, furniture and finishes. - Maintenance was relatively quick to respond to us. CONS: - The food in the area was overpriced and only just okay. - There is no ramp down to the beach so we literally had to lift our toddler in his heavy beach wagon down/up at least a dozen steps every time we wanted to go to or from the beach. - There were a few maintenance issues we noticed right away (broken door handle on balcony door, master toilet wasn’t flushing properly, sliding door off hinge in laundry area, and the towel hanger in the bathroom was loose/fell off wall.) The maintenance team was quick to answer our call and had someone out about 24 hours later, but it’s a bit disappointing that so many things were missed by house keeping / management company before we got there.) - There are a lot of fees and threats of charges for things like garbage not taken out, damage, lost wristbands, etc. Of course, we will (and I believe most people would) do our best to keep things perfect. Just feels like there are several rules to abide by (or else) which made the experience a little less relaxing. - The toilet paper holder in both bathrooms are rusty, as is the shower head arm in the master bathroom. Snowbird Rental Unit 304B

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The interior of the unit is appointed very nice. The bathrooms and kitchen have been updated, and the unit was very clean, and equipped well (kitchen, beach items, etc.) This was our second year spending the winter months (10 weeks) in this unit, and the living room furniture is already broken down and stained. One big downside is there was no lounge chair (as in the past) on the balcony, and the smell of natural gas from the pool heater is so strong on certain days that you cannot sit on the balcony, or have the patio doors open. The response of on site Glass Casa Management to issues we raised was poor. We had issues with getting our parking pass, and once that was resolved (by us, and at our expense) we had to contact the office personnel 3 times to get reimbursed. Upon our arrival we immediately contacted the office on 1/2/23 about the lack of a layout lounge chair on our balcony, which had been there the year before. We were told that they would contact the owner and see if one could be gotten. We were there until 3/10/23 and still did not get a response to our inquiry, even after speaking to three different people, Heather, Marty, and Jason. We received different answers from each person both verbally and via text, and it was never resolved. Because of the difficulty of dealing with staff, and lack of response to our issues/requests, plus much higher rental costs than other similar units, we regrettably chose to rent with another agency in 2024. We have been customers of Destin Palms, and then Glass Casa for 7 years but could not justify the premium cost that were knew we were paying, coupled with the lack of response from their on site personnel.
