Lots to do

We are golfers and pickleball players. The Sandestin resort offered both! The property fit our needs perfectly. The golf cart was a bonus allowing us to travel around the resort without moving our vehicles.

The 3 bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our family of 5. The 2 dens/family rooms were a big hit with our family as well. We also enjoyed using the golf cart to get around the resort. The management company provided some initial supplies and toiletries that really came in handy during our stay. We will definitely return!

Reviewer Comments: Tons of storage, kitchen was full of everything, ice maker, large pantry and closets, comfortable king mattresses, loved private living room off of my sons downstairs bedroom. Showered were fabulous! Laundry room had everything needed for a long stay. I would suggest a high top table on patio to see golf course. I would suggest a king bed in second upstairs bedroom. I would suggest cleaning the outdoor storage space

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Sandestin and will be back but may choose a different rental option (other than My Vacation Haven). The property was nice but there were 2 cockroaches we found when we arrived, there were 2 broken windows from golf balls, there was a pile of broken plates and a broken clock laying on the kitchen counter, the windows on the stairs leaked pretty badly after a rain, and finally the golf cart broke down on our last night. We enlisted the resort security to help get it out of the road at the resort. When we spoke to My Vacation Haven, they were unapologetic, and almost accusatory that it broke down (most likely a belt per security). We have just had much better experiences in the past.

Perfect place to stay!

The property itself is very nice, well-appointed, comfortable and in a great location. It is as nice as the pictures show. The resort area of Sandestin is amazing, and having a golf cart to use completely makes the trip. Very relaxing but still fun-filled. We’ll stay here again soon.

Sandestin Family Adventure

Would definitely stay in this townhome again. Perfect amount of space, updated bathrooms and kitchen, and very quiet part of the resort. Golf cart made other areas of the resort and beach area very accessible. Communication with the management team was very easy.

Great Vacation Rental

We loved our stay at this property and will definitely be back. We loved having the golf cart to drive around. Our son asked to go for a ride everyday. The townhouse was very spacious and it was really nice having the grill and beach closet to use. It was a little confusing on how to contact the property manager but we would definitely book this same property again.

Christmas Vacation

We had a great stay at fairways 294, the home is light, bright and spacious with enough private space for the whole family. It was our fist time staying within the Sandestin resort and we will definitely be back. I would also like to mention that the property management company was awesome to deal with, they were very responsive to all my questions. Thank you!

The gulf cart was a hit with grandkids and the pool was very close and could walk. Took the gulf cart to shop and grocery shop and to the beach. Even to the Warf where there are eating places and lots of things for the kids. The only thing we didnt like was at the beach there was a small area that you had to go to at the resort. There were lots of chairs and umbrellas set up to rent and you could not go out of this area because the Hilton owned the beach in front of them and you needed a wristband to be there. Wall to wall people. So the rest of our beach days we went to State park, Grayton and also over to Narvaar beach. They were wonderful and not crowded at all. We travel alot and have never been to a beach where the resorts or hotels own the beach, that is why we dont go to places when they say private beach. Thank you for sharing your home, loved it.

Our first time staying in the property was obviously a better experience. The property was not clean and could use some TLC. I did not call the management team upon our arrival (Saturday at 4pm) but when I did contact them on Monday, they were willing to come address the issues. Property has a "musty" smell that we dealt with all week. This is not something that can be fixed overnight. There are windows that need replacing...same windows needed replacing last year. Could this possibly contribute to the musty smell? The vent separating the utility room from main part of rental is just inside entrance on wall and is filthy. Rugs in property are dirty - outside seating areas and BBQ grill all dirty. Several other issues. A man from "Critter Control" knocked on door one day and asked to check attic spaces due to mice problem. This would have been good to know prior to booking property. The golf cart sounded like it could use some maintenance but never addressed with MHV. Didn't want to even deal with it. Not quite what we expected in a vacation rental!

This was the first time we had a rental that was nicer than the online pictures. It was beautiful, clean, had all of the details. Great showers, comfortable beds, a fast golf cart, just too much to name. We will stay here again.
