For not staying on the beach you get a nice view of the ocean and the resort from the balcony. Only negative- the TV could be updated with a Firestick to view some streaming services or allow the guests to use their streaming services to add to stay in evenings.

We enjoyed the balcony every evening as you can see the beach, pool, and golf course. We love the location and rented bikes which I highly recommend as we biked to our favorite restaurants (The Surf Hut, Pompano Joes, Another Broken Egg). The condo was clean and perfect for us. We have stayed in the Luau II several times and we will definitely be staying here again! The owner answered any questions we had and check in/out was a breeze!

Beautiful

It was a great experience overall! The communication went pretty good, however could have perhaps been a bit smoother. There were some discrepancies with the timing of communication. I am not sure if it on Vrbo or the my vacation havan. It's a beautiful location and we hope to stay at this same room and location in the future when its available. Very much appreciated the ability to dine-in and cook as well as dine-out. Additionally, we appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella to use down on the beach. We decided to put a floor mat down by the entry door as we didn't want to be tracking sand all over.

What a view!

Owners responded quickly to query before arrival. Unit was clean and well maintained- with magnificent views out the huge windows! Wow- those sunsets! Beach was easy to access and so beautiful -morning walks will never be the same (back home). Thanks for a wonderful rental!

Beautiful Unit and Great Property

The overall rating would be a 5 except that our door code was an issue. Every time we left the room and returned the code wouldn’t work. In 3 nights that we stayed at the property we were given 6 different codes and had to stand outside the unit calling/texting/waiting to get in. A bit frustrating, but the unit itself was beautiful.

Good Stay but…

Pros- Rental process was very easy Amenities we’re good, Great Location, Property views were good, pool was nice, easy walk to beach Cons-the condo had a musty smell. The couch needed a steam cleaning. The beach for Sandestin was small and packed. The chair and umbrella rental took over the entire beach and half of the chairs empty. So very little space to bring your own and set up unless you are up at 7 am to set up a spot. Same for the pool, too few umbrellas. Need more!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We called the "desk" 6 times in the first couple of days. Info was not clear as to gate admission, parking, additional "suite" door lock, etc. VCR did not work, called, said someone would us a new one the next day, it never happened. Beach was so crowded, not a pleasant experience at all. Pool was nice. Not really much else to do. The room was nice, view was great. New sofa was delivered, the old one was in the hallway. Glad to know it was being replaced, as the old one was DISGUSTING.

Great vacation

Great property. Beautifully decorated. Love the view! We really enjoyed our stay there. The only complaints would be that the sofa is badly stained and needs to be cleaned and the showerhead replaced.
