“My friends and I stayed here for a small bachelorette party, and it was perfect! Check in was easy, the property was clean and lovely to be in, and John was great to communicate with. I would stay here again!”

“Great locationVery relaxing stay.everything was well updated”

“This is a beautiful cottage only a short walk to the lake. Higgins is a large recreational lake with 2 state parks and many launches. Kudos to the host for the tasteful, yet adorable lake decor. The house has JUST about everything you need, plenty of indoor and outdoor space. (Although having to bring our own towels was a quite inconvenience for us as we were traveling by air from out of state.) It's Ccose to dining options, Nibbles ice cream, and cute boutiques. The beds and bedding are so……

“We always enjoy our stay at the Leisure Cottages! So clean and convenient for our party of six. Very accurate VRBO description. We will be back!”

“We enjoyed an “Up North” extended summer stay at River Camp visiting with family and friends. The Boardman riverfront location was excellent for fishing, bonfires and hunting for Petoskey stones. Tons of privacy. The home had everything we needed for our stay including a beautiful fenced back yard for our pups!! The host was great to work with. I would highly recommend a stay here!! Two thumbs up!!”

“StillWaters was the perfect place to get away, yet have every comfort of home! The lake was visible from every room, reminding you to enjoy the view.I personally liked that the house was near the dock so I could be part of my family's fishing adventure while I sat with coffee & a book.Thank you for opening your beautiful home! We greatly enjoyed our stay.”

“We had an amazing time, my kids (9,11 & 12) loved swimming, fishing and using the kayaks. House was clean and communication was great during our stay.”

“Only thing missy is local tv/ cable”

“The house is great. Very comfortable and so so clean! Well-stocked kitchen. Plenty of everything we needed. I highly recommend this property.”

“We had a great time. Cabin was right on the lake with a nice small "Beach" area set up and maintained to enjoy. Especially liked the small stream running though the property, and the Sasquatch trail for extra features. It was very hot (in the 90s) while we were there and the window AC unit mostly did the job with just a couple of too warm spots inside. The water is on a shallow well which is typical in the area for cabin but it did have a strong swampy smell so bring your own drinking water……

“Cottage was up to date, cozy, and clean. It is on the south side of Houghton lake so it can get very windy and wavy but when calmer its beautiful swimming. Beautiful sunsets!! Overall perfect cottage for couple or small family of 3.”

“This property is absolutely gorgeous!! The river flowing through the backyard is a true highlight! This property was perfect for our family and we had a wonderful time!”

“We absolutely loved staying here! Very clean and the hosts provided everything you may need. The hosts were excellent and very quick to respond during our stay. We also loved how dog friendly it was and our pup thourghly enjoyed the big fenced in back yard and being able to run freely! We would definitely book this cabin again!”
