“What I liked: the oceanfront room was exactly as advertised; beautiful stepping out to the porch and watching the ocean. The room was decent and comfortable. The water pressure and hot water was great. The size of the property is amazing, multiple pools, cleaned daily. The interior of the hotel, the reception area, all very nice. The hotel also has a waterfall, garden feature. Plenty of beach beds. The afternoon tea was unexpected and great, really helped me to manage my meals. The massage was……

I fell in love with Mombasa, Kenya and this was my second time visit within two months time frame. We got there around 2am due to the late flight schedule. When we got to the front desk, it literally took 10 minutes for someone to come out and help us check in. The guy looked like he just woke up and he was very disoriented. He walked with us to guide where our room……

“Hotellet (byggt på 70-talet) var i stort behov av renovering både utvändigt och invändigt. Servicen var långsam. Beställde man dricka till maten så hade man nästan ätit klart innan den kom in. Man fick vänta på madrasser och handdukar för solsängarna till klockan var närmare 10 AM. Bad i havet provade jag en gång och det fick räcka. Väldigt långgrunt och mycket sjögräs vilket man inte kan skylla hotellet för. Jag hade ett superior rum för 9000 KSH/natt och halvpension vilket var ganska ok. men……

“The hotel was a nightmare, I could never recommend this hotel to anyone. Everything was terrible, even the friendliness of the stuff could not hide the terrible condition this place is in. The only saving grace is the beach itself. What a beautiful place. The food was horrible. Look it’s the coast and we were not expecting miracles but it hardly lived up to our already low expectations. The bathroom had bugs in it and it was old and dirty.
