I stayed in the Penthouse Suite Apartment from August 18–23, and while the apartment looks just like the photos at first glance, my overall experience was disappointing.Here are my honest observations:The apartment loses water pressure randomly in different areas (kitchen, bathroom, and shower).The furniture is very fragile and low quality, so handle with extreme care.One of the ceiling fans in the downstairs master bedroom is burnt out, only works on one speed, and gives off a smell when running.There were not enough drinking cups for the maximum number of guests the apartment is advertised to accommodate.The stairway leading to the penthouse suite was extremely hot and humid, which made coming and going very uncomfortable.Booking & Policy Warning:Take serious caution before booking this property. The host enforces a very strict cancellation policy and will not make exceptions even for legitimate reasons. If you cancel within 30 days of booking, you will lose 50% of your payment, no matter the circumstances—even if you just booked the room. You will only get a full refund if you cancel before the 30-day mark.Communication Problems:I reached out to the host immediately after booking to explain my situation and request a cancellation, but the host did not respond to any of my messages until the actual day of check-in. No resolution was reached because the host completely ignored multiple messages in the Vrbo portal and failed to address my concerns.
