Lo que no me gusta es que el ingreso a las habitaciones está al exterior. El hombre que me atendió en recepción fue amable, me dio buen servicio y fue claro en las indicaciones. El estacionamiento es de fácil acceso y en la misma propiedad. La habitación estaba muy limpia y las camas son cómodas, en general la habitación tiene el nivel de limpieza y confort que esperas de Holliday Inn. Excelente relación calidad/precio

The heater in the room was not working, the front desk sent a rude maintenance guy to look at it. He right away said “yup I told them it wasn’t working.” And proceeded to tell us to call front desk for a new room or more blankets. I called front desk & they offered a space heater, due to not having any available rooms. The maintenance guy was not happy having to go back to front desk & bring us heater. After almost 20 mins he returned with a small desk heater for the room. Spent the night in a cold room.

The only reason I got this because of the spa.The door is jammed, and I can't get in the spa.And one lady told me 10:30pm the spot closes and the other one that change shifts and took her spot, said.Now ed closes at 9pm what the f*** I'll never come to this place again. The hotel room certainly didn’t look like the online photos and part of why I booked at that location. The toilet seat was broken and something that would have been a quick fix. The room was comparable to a Motel 6 but dirtier! I booked the room based on previous stays at other locations. When I checked in, I was asked if I had an IHG account and gave her my email. She continued to check me in and I assumed she located my account. I asked her later into the transaction and she stated that she didn’t locate my account. I guess if I hadn’t asked, I wouldn’t have received rewards that I earned. What a total disappointment for a sisters weekend. Don’t waste your money and stay here!!!!! You will thank me later!

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at Monterey Bay by IHG over the Christmas holidays, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Everyone was lovely, and a special mention goes to the sweetest daughter of one of the receptionists, who truly added a warm and personal touch to our stay. Breakfast each morning was delicious and well organized, with plenty of options to choose from. There were eggs, sausages, yogurt, biscuits, pancakes, muffins, bagels, and three different juices—something for everyone, and a great way to start the day. Our room was extremely comfortable. We had a king-size bed, which was absolutely fabulous—large, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. The room also had a nice TV. While it wasn’t a smart TV, we brought our laptop and connected it, so we were still able to watch Netflix and Disney Plus without any issues. The hotel’s location is another big plus. It sits right on the border of Seaside and Monterey, very close to the beach and water, as well as several delicious restaurants. Monterey is easily walkable, though it can be a bit of a long walk, so comfortable shoes are recommended. We also appreciated that our room faced the back of the property rather than the highway, which made it feel quieter and more peaceful. The ONLY downside worth noting is that the hotel is not one large indoor building. The rooms are accessed from the outside, meaning you do have to walk outdoors to get to your room.

Hotel is run down. The bathroom walls have a lot of water damage due to the layout of the shower, water sprays out all over the floor and walls. There was hair stuck to the closet door. Needs to be repainted, paint is dirty chipping molding. There is rust around the hardware. The carpet and furniture are filthy with stains. I would not stay again.

The hotel and room were perfectly adequate and what one expects from an older hotel that’s been revamped sometime in the decade. What stood out was the AWFUL layout of the breakfast buffet and FILTHY dining area. The breakfast space is entirely too small for a hotel of this size, especially when full. The dining area was full of spilled food on the floor & tables, trash left anywhere & everywhere *except* a trash can, and abandoned food in the buffet line. It looked like no one bothers to go around to clean & tidy the dining area until breakfast is over. While a fancy machine that grinds coffee beans on demand per cup, then heats water, THEN dispenses coffee 4 minutes later sounds cute and fun, having only 2 of these machines for a hotel of this size is ridiculous. Just brew an urn of coffee that serves more than 2 people at a time! If you plan to eat breakfast at this hotel, do so at your own risk. It’s a nightmare instead of a fun perk during your travels.
