"Just sad how bad this place has become. They advertise a tiny dirty plastic leather couch as a queen sofa bed for 2! The “breakfast” is a total joke with tiny muffins from the dollar store. Upcharges galore. The staff is annoying and can’t be bothered. Cannot recommend less. "

"Overall, a good experience. The rooms were very clean, very well maintained, and had great amenities. The tv had a good number of channels available. Staff were courteous and helpful. My only gripe was they charged me for the rooms before I even set foot on the property to check-in. I get the non refundable after a certain time and date when you choose the pay at property, but I would think they would wait until at least the actual check in time and not the morning of. Just odd business practice. Other than that, solid stay, great place, and would recommend."

"The boxed continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise and was perfect for our needs and tastes. We like the location because we can walk into downtown Pacific Grove for shops and restaurants, not have to drive, and it's enough distance to count as good exercise. The area feels safe and looks attractive and pleasant. Next time, we would pay extra to get a room with a private balcony."
