Great location to visit Volterra. Lovely room, comfortable bed, very friendly staff, amazing pool, great selection for breakfast and for dinner. Lovely patio to eat dinner on. This place could be really amazing, needs grounds to be better taken care of....weeds everywhere and overgrown, driveway to place is full of ruts and potholes. An adventure getting there. Garbage area right in front in parking area, not a good first impression. Also, there is always a smell of horse manure and urine. they have horses you can ride but they seem to dispose of manure by putting it on the fields close to property in the olive grove. Flies are around because of this. There was no place to hang clothes in room. Air condtioner didn't work very well so had to have windows open and you got the smell of manure or noise as there was a party on premises with children running around wild. ( they were supposed to stay in annex area but were running around pool area)They did have a small complete kitchen in a cupboard which was nice but we didn't use. Water went out one morning but was fixed in about 15 minutes. This could be an amazing place if they had better management and a full time grounds keeper. It really is a shame,

Alojamiento perfecto para desconectar, anfitriones que te hacen sentir como en casa. Piscina espectacular con camas balinesas y hamacas. Comimos 2 dias alli tambien muy bien. La unica pega que nos tocó 2 dias de mucha calar, y al no tener aire acondicionado, ni ventiladores ni mosquiteras lo pasamos bastante mal para dormir. Fuera de eso todo lo demas espectacular.

Fantastisk sted til oplevelse af Agriturismo i Italien. Dejlig velkomst. Skønt autentisk og stort værelse med lille køkken og køleskab. Dejlig seng at sove i, alt var nydeligt rengjort. Morgenmaden var ok, ikke stort udvalg, men passede fint til god opstart på dagen. Det allerstørste plus, var dog området ved poolen. Det var helt fantastisk. Skøn pool, mange dejlige steder at nyde solen og fantastisk udsigt. Der var mulighed for rideture, da der lå lille sted med heste 200 m derfra. Det valgte vi dog ikke at benytte os af, da meget af turen var på lidt ujævnt underlag med mange sten. Fantastisk sted, så bare book ! Obs at vi rejse uden børn, og tænker ikke at der var så meget sjov for børn at opleve. Men super dejlig oplevelse for unge og voksne.

This is where all of your Italian dreams will come true! Beautiful scenery, comfortable, clean and gorgeous rooms, food that is generous in portions, fresh and so delicious and the wine - amazing! The hosts and staff will treat you like family. This will be a stay you will never forget. For us, it was a well positioned stay - a respite after several busy and hot days in Rome and before a another city stay in Bologna. It fit perfectly, but we would also recommend staying here for your entire trip, while using a car to sightsee when you feel like it. We did not have a car and so we spent 2 blissful days eating, drinking, swimming and relaxing at Podere Dell’Anselmo. Our young son was also perfectly happy there and treated like family. We will definitely dream of our return one day.

Superbe séjour au Podere d'Anselmo

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par le couple propriétaire. Le personnel de l'établissement est également très sympathique. Nous n'avons séjourné qu'une seule nuit, mais aurions souhaité y demeurer plus longtemps. Le souper était excellent tout comme le vin. À l'extérieur, il y a une piscine creusée et des chaises longues. À quelques pas, il y a une écurie où nous avions suivi un cours d'équitation. Nous gardons d'excellents souvenirs de notre séjour.
