“Great place to stay. Staff was helpful. Wish there was dining available in the dining hall area or drinks at the bar.”

“This was a very nice and relax environment. I felt safe and at peace.”

“Second time to choose this place”

“This hotel was awful. First of all, there's no lighting at the entry road to the hotel and you can't see it until you're passed it so we missed the road trying to get in and had to turn around and we still couldnt see it and almost missed it again. If we didnt have a gps, we never would have found it. There was barely any parking. The front desk staff looked about 12 to 15 and was extremely unhelpful. The front desk wouldn't give us any towels or paper towels even though I explained my water……

“The hotel has a nice restaurant, bar area and outside firepit area. Everything seemed clean and neat. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I booked a room with two double beds via Expedia and received a confirmation back that the room had two double beds. When I called the hotel, however, they said there were no rooms with two double beds and instead the room had one double bed and pull-out couch with could serve as another bed if needed. I said that is not what I booked……

“Interior and exterior needs updating.”

“Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!”

“The cabin in tge woods was enchanting, cozy and perfect for our needs! Family loved the downtime playing games and relaxing. Wish we had better weather because we could see there was so much more to do. We will be back next year when we come through town again!”

“All questions in review 5 Star. Host made sure all needs were taken care of. Super easy check in and check out. Even provided EV charging cable from the Motor Home area. Very relaxing.”

“One of the best trips my family has ever taken! The caboose is charming with amazing views and plenty of furry company. The house was clean and the yard/fire pit area was spectacular. The only negative is the water smells a bit funky, but that should not be a deterrent because this trip is so special. Do not miss out, book the caboose!!”

“I wish I could rate our overall experience with 10 STARS! Absolutely beautiful property with breathtaking views. The RV is very modern, clean, comfortable bed and had everything we needed for our stay. Definitely my idea of "camping"! We had a few visits from the goats (behind the fence of course) while watching the horses graze in the field and even saw a fawn frolicking in the field as the sun was setting! Thank you for creating the perfect place for travelers to spend some down time and……

“What an amazing property!!! Every detail was thought of when remodeling this caboose. It is absolutely stunning. And, it’s as comfortable as it is beautiful. Everywhere you look, you see another tiny piece that is spot-on withe the caboose’s decor. You have to see this beauty!!!”

“A unique redo of a one room school house. Top amenities and facilities. As two retired teachers, and married for 52 years, we really enjoyed the experience.”

“While the rooms and furnishings are very nice, the bathrooms we not cleanly or updated. The night I stayed there, the power had gone off and there was no air conditioning and the no water. This could be a nice B&B but the outdoors need to be improved. For starters, they could remove the junk water heater from the front porch.”

“Perfect stay near family. We were able to stay 2 lovely nights in this beautiful home. Comfortable double bed with washer and dryer. King size bed in the master. Upstairs and downstairs bathroom was convenient.”

“Worked very well for our family of 7. Owner was very responsive and house was very clean. We utilized it as a home base for going to Cooperstown.”
