“Really liked this hotel. The customer service was beautiful. I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel which such good customer service, and I stay in a lot of hotels. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Nice ambience in the bar area and a lovely spa. Excellent hotel gym. ”

“Professional friendly staff. Pool, steam room and sauna were beautiful. The grounds are amazing. I was unlucky with the guest in the neighbouring room who began loud conference calls at 9am meaning that I checked out early. Pity. ”

“Only complaint would be pillows, for me, flat firm pillows dont work. Staff is the best! They were always Super helpful. Location is good...close to the Barbican, aquarium, and waterfront. Room was very clean, well appointed and had great black-out drapes.”

“Absolutely loved Grace! She greeted us upon arrival and was available the entire weekend for our stay. The small staff was exceptional! All very friendly. Accommodations were modern and clean, bed was comfortable. While it wasn’t a bothere to us. Be warned they have live music on weekends so it will be noisy from 9-11p.m. We would stay here again if we were ever to come back to the area.”

“The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav. The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door. The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained. The owner was very helpful with directions and places to visit and eat……

“Absolutely beautiful place, beautiful location I cant fault anything. Pub and local store in easy walking distance. Just be aware no local public transportation except taxi which have limited availability. Wasnt a big issue but if you want to go into Plymouth it was £25 each way to the train station with one train an hour. We brought our telescope but unfortunately had cloud cover but would be a perfect location for evening of star gazing ”
