This was by far the worst place ive ever stayed in myrtle beach bathroom had mold and when using the shower it would make the carpet wet going out of the bathroom the tv wasnt connected to cable took close to a hour of trying to figure out how to get in connected no housekeeping the lazy river was down for refurbishment i understand that has to be done but what was open the pool that was post to be heated wasnt the hot tub was very cold the roof on the indoor pool leaked and had panels missing making it very cold the only hot tub was outside and im not going outside in January and be ready for a 250 dollar hold on your card you get back or a 40 dollar damage deposit you dont get back it was a royal dump dont let the pictures fool you way over priced for what it is

Our room was very nice and clean, and the check-in process was quick and easy. However, I was a bit taken aback by the amount of the security deposit. Since it was the off-season, the room rate was actually cheaper than the deposit itself, which felt excessive. The indoor pool area had the potential to be amazing. I believe there were five indoor hot tubs, but unfortunately, the first four were visibly dirty, so we didn’t even attempt to check the fifth. We were also very disappointed to find that the lazy river was closed, especially since this information was not shared with us at check-in. That amenity was the one my son was most excited about and ultimately played a major role in our decision to stay here. While our family plans to visit the area again once the weather warms up, we will not be staying at The Landmark in the future.

Had requested to be on the highest floor possible to watch the sunsets. I was placed on the sixth floor. My room was directly lined up in the breezeway with the conference center at night with the wind blowing my door sounded like it had hurricane wind and was howling so loud that it kept me up, regardless if I was sleeping in the living room, the heat in the bedroom barely worked. I had to crank the heat up in the living room, just to warm up the whole entire room., Stafford super friendly I did call and ask for a late check out the day of checkout and was told no.

First of all, the room was very nice. We’ve been staying at the Landmark for years with no problems. This time though sealed the deal for us. They were experiencing a burst sewage pipe in the pool area which they had root rooter onsite working on. Did they close the pools while there was a river of feces flowing through seeping in to the lazy river? No. I watches kids running through the river to jump into the main pool and nobody cared. People we still swimming in the hot tubs and main pool with the boo-boo water and nobody was making effort to close the area. Just people swimming in sewage. We tried to go out onto the beach but you could smell that evil all the way to the waterline. It was time to go. Something else to consider. The onsite restaurant had open mayo jars on every table. I asked how long they’d been there and apparently they leave them out all day. Mayo has a max of 2 hours to be out of a fridge, look it up. When I mentioned it and even showed the USDA recommendation to the employee, they said they would mention it to their boss later that evening. I wonder how much of the sewage in the pool was caused by the old mayo left out?

This property should be taken better care of within the rooms and hallways etc. Everything is completely out dated; furniture, interior structure damaged, along with almost everything is worn/dingy (with paint completely off table, chairs, etc).
