"Staff was helpful. Rooms and facilities were clean. Onsen was clean and cozy. Super location if you want to be close to Nagano station. 7-Eleven around the corner. Lots of dining options nearby. Would stay again!"

"Quite close to the Nagano Station (a short walk), good breakfast included, although the breakfast room is very busy for the first hour. Has on site laundry. A pleasant city park is across the street, 2 convenience stores nearby and a "Hotto Motto" fast food outlet a few doors down, as well as the shops and restaurants at and around Nagano Station."

"Great location and the owners were just so wonderful. It's an authentic ryokan, which is what we were looking for. It's not "upscale" like a modern Japanese hotel, but that was the opposite of what we were looking for. Owners were so attentive and lovely."

"There were some maintenance issues with the hotel. The lights on the elevator button on the 9th floor did not illuminate, my room lights were also a little trouble. There were a couple of bugs in my room as well. The check in staff was not as accommodating as I would have liked. However, the hot spring was great. The hotel bus driver and restaurant staff were very friendly."

"Older hotel but it was very clean and comfortable. There is a 7-11 next door and directly across the street from the Shinkansen side of the station. Due to the close proximity to the station there are a lot of food options, would stay here again"
