“Needs maintenance”

“This was our second time staying here and we love this place! Staff is very helpful, and made the effort to communicate with us, using our very limited Spanish. Trees and flowers are beautiful here. Many choices on Free Breakfast menu, and food is very good. We love staying in this place and know that the staff takes great pride in keeping the natural beauty of Costa Rica, and providing excellent service.”

“We loved our stay here. The grounds of the property are beautiful and interesting with lots of birds and butterflies (note there is some small construction going on at the moment but this didn’t affect us). It was a relaxing and peaceful place for a few days with excellent hiking nearby to the waterfalls and river swimming pools. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the enclosed seating area at the front of each cabin, with fresh coffee provided, was a great place just to sit for a while.……

“Pour sound insulation in the room. Lots of noise past midnight from guests in adjacent rooms and floor above my room. Shuttle to and from airport was very good.”

“Gorgeous and unique property close to the Poas Nacional Park. The views were breathtakingly beautiful! We stayed in the Junior Dome and had a relaxing and zen like stay. The property was very cute and quiet in June. There was a nearby dog barking nonstop from a neighbor but not much you can do about that.”

“I enjoyed the fire pit and the jacuzzi, just a little bothered with the hot water going out and we had to use cold water. The farm animals were lovely especial the baby donkey”

“The grounds garden and pool were very beautiful and clean. The restaurant was amazing and included a full bar. They even had a space that allowed the dog to dine with us. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and water pressure in the shower was great! We would stay again.”

“They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!”
