"We had a great overall stay at the Cambria Hotel. The hotel was easy to find, the location was ideal for everything we wanted to do, and parking was very convenient. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made check-in/out very easy. We also appreciated the fitness center—it was clean, well-equipped, and a nice amenity to have available. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It had Great AC! There were just a few minor maintenance issues that kept it from being perfect. The bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working, so the room became extremely steamy and accumulated a lot of moisture, so we had to leave the door open when showering. The shower diverter knob also didn't work properly and you had to try it multiple times before it would engage and send water to the shower head. However, the water pressure was excellent when it worked! The only other inconvenience was that the room had just one very small bathroom garbage can (no others in the room) which made it difficult to dispose of trash during our stay. Overall, these were relatively minor issues, and we would stay here again because of the excellent location, comfortable accommodations, helpful staff, and great amenities."

"I know there have been a lot of negative reviews about this place but we were willing to gamble because it was almost half the price of most other hotels we were looking at. We wanted something within walking distance to the David L. Lawrence conference center. This place was a wonderful experience for us from beginning to end. I must of messaged them at least a dozen of times with messages on Hotels.com (but you could also text them) to ask questions and they responded very quickly answering everything! The check in process was easy as it was just a text message and link. When we arrived, we had a working code to get through the doors, but there was also other doors at the main entrance for guests if the code did not work. There were 2 people at the front desk that were very helpful and answered a lot of questions. We also did not have bedding for the pull out couch and they quickly grabbed us a bag with fresh linens for it. During our stay, we Door Dashed a dinner and the driver did not show up at the lobby but downstairs in the residents parking lot. The kind person at the front desk helped us out by running downstairs and getting it for us because I have trouble with stairs because of my back. The apartment complex is half residents and half hotel stays. The residents were very pleasant and friendly and helped to open doors (because I was using a walker). Check out was a breeze and valet parking was always quick."

"The room was quite clean, the staff was incredibly helpful and the breakfast had more options than I thought it would for being included. Bed was not very comfortable, a bit too firm for my liking, and the flashing smoke detector/alarm every 10-20 seconds was very irritating while trying to sleep, but not dealbreakers to staying here again. Overall a 4/5"

Comfort Inn Conference Center Pittsburgh Penn Hills

"Overall, a good experience. The property and room was clean and had two good nights rest. Pool was nice and indoors, and convenient in house restaurant/bar. Very accessible location to the Parkway. Enjoyed that ground level rooms also had direct access out to parking lot. On the downside, while pet friendly, there was an additional nightly fee that was not part of the listing. When other guests spoke in the hallway, it was also a bit distracting. Also, check in took two hours and the reasons provided changed: initially that we brought a pet and that the specific room wasn't ready, then that they tried a different room, but the system wouldn't allow the change. Ultimately, the manager on duty did see how long we had waited and quickly resolved the matter. Lastly, some of the fixtures in the room appear older/rusted. While they didn't affect function at all, it did give a bit of a run-down feel. But for the price and location, even with the additional fees, and with the short notice on booking (we booked just a few hours before arriving) we were satisfied."
