“We asked the front desk staff to book a taxi to the ferry and he booked a private car and the price is three time higher than taxi. When I ask why it is so expensive. He replied that they charged by person. I have never booked a car which charged you by person in the world. As a world- known hotel, such a thing could never happen.”

“L'Hotel Tieti is an absolute gem of a place hidden 300kms north of Noumea on the West Coast. Built in the mid 1980's, it is looking a little bit aged in some places but apart from that this hotel is superb. We stayed in a beachside bungalow and the staff and management (especially the Manager Yve) fell over themselves to make us feel welcome, safe and looked after.
