"The rooms were fairly clean. Howvever, there was lots of dust/trash around the edges of the rooms. Check in staff was efficient and pleasant. Breakfast staff didn't seem to be able to keep up with the crowds and were frustrated with them. Broken juice dipenser? That's really sad for a breakfast bar. Pool got overrun by a group of unruly and inconsiderate boys and inattentive parents."

"The front desk people were great! The breakfast was ok I guess. Even tho the room and bed were clean. The dark features made it feel like I was gonna see a bug at any given time, but luckily I DID NOT! The carpet needed cleaning. I Did not like seeing the stain even though the carpet was brown, which I did not like. I did not like the dark brown doors and trim , made the room feel dated and heavy. But once morning came I did see that the rooms on the opposite side of the hall had the sun and also had the glass door shower instead of the dark one with a tub which I had, and they looked more modern and clean. I would have chosen one of those if I had known better. But overall it was not bad , except for those things mentioned. Just needs some updates in my opinion."

"Nice hotel for the price. Safe location not too far from Durham Chapel Hill border. Late night 2am Wendy's drive thru is nearby. Only real con: you need AC sometimes on Upper floors even when it's only low 60s outside. Also no apparent way to switch between AC and heat. It's either AC or nothing. They must control it from a central location."
