“We are frequent guests at the Umstead. It is one of the best hotel/spas where we have ever spent time. Very professional staff, clean, well decorated, beautiful grounds with walking paths. Heron’s restaurant is on Forbes best rated list. Well worth the price of admission!”

“As I checked in the staff member Mr. Henry was checking someone else in. His presentation was of the charts if I didn't want to stay there but by listening to how well he presented to the customer in front of me. I felt more than welcome and was like "yeah I am staying here". Mr. Henry was Awesome. Then when I checked out the black gentlemen (sorry didn't get his name) at desk that night, he was very helpful when checking out. These two staff members were great.”

“We took the shuttle from the airport to the hotel and checked in with Nicole, who was very helpful and friendly. We had a large room on the quiet 6th floor that was extremely clean and well appointed. The hotel was very clean and the decor was beautiful. We had breakfast in the morning which was the standard breakfast fare. It was average but adequate. All in all, I was extremely satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend Hampton Inn Briar Creek to everyone.”
