The house was perfect for our needs. Two familys stayed and there were ample rooms and bathrooms for all 9 of us. The weather got cooler during our stay but we could enjoy the pool for the first two days. The outside backyard was a great place to hang out and get sun in between our other plans. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfy. I would definitely look to stay here again when visiting my son in New Orleans.

We had an absolute blast staying here. The house was extremely neat and tidy, the pool and outdoor space was as advertised, and communication was easy and clear. I'd definitely want to stay here next time I'm in New Orleans!

Lovely Spot- One Major Downside

Loved the house! Spacious and clean. There was enough space for all 7 of us to fit comfortably. There was cookware and other necessary items such as towels, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap, spices, and more. The ONLY issue we truly HATED was the pool times. The fact the pool closed at 10pm and did not open again until 8am was HORRIBLE! We purposely purchased this location for the pool and we could barely use it. We spent a lot of time exploring New Orleans and attending tours that we did not have a lot of time during the pool’s time frame to actually swim. What sucks more was the whole group of 7 were sober and would have been quiet while chilling outside. However, this limit ruined our mood and we did not even feel comfortable sitting outside for fear of being evicted. Not cool. Fair enough to have this rule and I actually appreciate this idea. HOWEVER! There should have been a note on this in the property’s description. This feels like false advertisement. We were told the property’s amenities were accessible and part of the deal. Super disappointed and I actually had problems with the group because of this. They, too, thought the pool would be open when they wished to swim and they provided money for the location. Then they found out there was a certain time slot, I was suddenly the one at fault. Not cool guys. Don’t do that to your guests. Telling them the morning they are traveling that the pool will only have certain hours is ethically unacceptable. Do better.

This property did not disappoint—it was exactly as described on the website. The location was perfect, close to everything whether walking or using a ride share. We had a group of ten (five couples), and there was more than enough space for everyone. The bedrooms and bathrooms were ideal for our group, and the kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of refrigerator and counter space, along with an abundance of glasses, cups, and other essentials. Everything was easy to find, the bedding and towels were clean, and the home was very comfortable overall.Max was a fantastic host—his communication was the best I’ve experienced with any VRBO stay. Check-in and check-out were seamless.The only minor drawbacks were that the hot water took a little while to heat up and we noticed some red ants near the pool, but those are small things outside anyone’s control and did not take away from our wonderful stay. We all agreed we’d be happy to stay here again.
