This is a well- maintained, small and simple hotel that reminded me of small European hotels. Clean and safe, with snacks and drinks available for purchase in the evening, restaurants and a Trader Joe’s grocery two blocks away, and full free breakfast in the morning.

I wanted an authentic NY experience for my granddaughter, not a new roadside motel… it fit! Older hotel in a working class neighborhood but very clean, comfy bed and pillows, modern fixtures, good free breakfast, excellent coffee I’m a happy camper! Front desk always sweet and helpful! In any other location in the country this would be a $150/night motel. It was clean and it was quiet enough to sleep, but it’s super basic and there were multiple things broken or breaking in our room. I would have been very happy at $150/night, but at $300+ it was hard to swallow.
