We picked this property because it is at the base of the ski area and we were not disappointed. What we were surprised by was the amusement park theme with a carousel, village mock ups, and animatron figures singing! It was a real experience! Multiple dining choices, great gym, and beautiful views. Great place to stay if skiing Rusutsu!

Pleasant but…

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. My children enjoyed the free rides on the carousel & swimming in the resort’s pool. The only disappointment we have was the limited choices of food/restaurants available; there was only one or two restaurants that were open & the prices were ridiculous. Most of the guests ended up going across the road to Seico & 711 to buy microwave meals. We would consider coming back if the food situation improves.

A fantastic resort with everything to keep you entertained. Unfortunately, there was a fire in our building and we had to evacuate. The hotel relocated us 5 hours later, but it ruined most of our stay that day.

Very well equipped ski resort. Food are not bad, price is ok with the current exchange rate. Staffs are generally friendly. But it doesn’t allow non ski school beginner to use the magic carpet close to north building. A little bit inconvenient.

The Rusutsu Resort Hotel is a well-oiled machine - all the staff are polite, helpful and they are used to moving lots of people at once. Rooms are clean and reasonably large for Japan. The rooms and facilities are dated; it feels very 90s. Main areas could use a refresh, especially the carpeting in the hallways. Expect to have to walk a lot to get anywhere: to your room, to the ski locker, to restaurants, to the ski hill. Could be really noisy depending on your room’s proximity to the elevators as lots of people constantly moving about. We tried breakfast (included) at different spots; service again impeccable but the food wasn’t anything special. Restaurants on site are very expensive; resort pricing in full effect here. Try to make reservations at the smaller restaurants off site for better value.

When checking in I couldn’t really understand the guys English and he would talk in Japanese under his breath. He was so rude. My bathroom smelled like pure urine. They sent housekeeping to clean it and it still smelled like pure urine. The toilet was extremely old. Paint was chipped on furniture. I asked to make a lunch reservation in their igloos and was denied because I was only 1 person. For breakfast at Oktoberfest The check making the egg totally ignore me when I asked for my eggs to be cooked on both sides. When the eggs were finally cooked he waa only allowing me to take one egg, mind you this was an all you can eat that I paid for. As a person that went to college for Hotel & Restaurant Management this is unacceptable. I paid a lot of money to stay there and flew from very far away to be treated like this and have my bathroom sell of urine.

受付で、研修中の方が対応してくれたが、こちらの言うことがあまり伝わらないため、非常にチェックインに時間を要したが、周りにいた方は、話しているだけで、助けにこなかったことが不満だった。 明らかに、困っているんだから、職員同士助けてあげてほしい。それによりもう少しチェックインの時間が短くなったはずだと思いました。

夜中の隣客の出入り音（扉の開け閉め）が煩く、翌日のゴルフが寝不足となった。 扉音が出にくい様に改装していただけると、更に良いホテルになると思います。

Overall the resort stay is good value for money (summer), it has everything onsite, amusement park, shopping, food etc. some downside could be: the hotel room bathroom being a little dated, they don't do cleaning daily, but they do at least change your towels for you. Being a hotel, noise from your neighbors could be a problem (talking loudly in their room or outside in the corridors, slamming the door etc esp at night or in the early morning). They also provide coffee bags and teas in room. Location wise it seems to be quite ok, as we were able to drive (south) to Lake Toya in under 30mins or so, city of Date, Muroran, Noboribetsu etc. to the north, niseko, and if you like to the East is Jozenkei, all within about an hour. Plenty of Parking and is free. You also have access as a resort guest to Westin's onsen. The monorail is cute! Just note that this is in the summer where it's not the resort ski season so everything is very chill and not too crowded, I think things might get a bit different in the winter busy season though :)

Le resort est très grand et joli. Sûrement très agréable l’hiver. La piscine à vagues était ok, mais les bains chauds décevants. Il faut faire les activités comme le carrousel et le shopping le soir car ce n’est pas ouvert avant midi ou 13:00, donc après le check-out. La chambre de style japonaise était très petite et les futons trop minces.

自助晚餐嘅收費和提供的食物種類有落差。早餐食物選擇也不算十分理想。往房間電梯只有一個出入口，住較後的房間要拉著行李行一大段路，而地毯地也不好拖。

酒店很大，大到幾乎在內都見不到職員經過 超多旅客，他們會在酒店餐廳關門後聚集在中庭位置，有啲嘈吵，加上他們10幾人，又飲酒，說話好大聲，覺得有點失態 滑雪場設施正常 酒店有三間餐廳，其中兩間可以作早餐buffet，我去了最大的餐廳，人多到不行，擠擁程度十分高，食物很快就被沽清，不能好好享受食物 房間很大，有露台，但住後價錢覺得overprice，應該不會再去

スキーで利用しました。大浴場もきれいで、スライダーつきのプールも楽しかったです。サウスフロント裏から駐車場を通り道路を渡れば、コンビニが2軒あります。館内の売店にはワンプレートの冷凍食品まで置いてあり、便利屋です。ランドリーもノースとサウスに1箇所ずつ計2ヶ所あり助かりました。チェックアウト10時で、スクールの開始時刻と重なり、それまでにスキーロッカーを移動させないといけなくて、朝はてんやわんやでした。レイトチェックアウトは1時間4000円でした。
