"My first time in Venice so we had no expectations. There's no lift so you have to carry your bags up the stairs. Not handicap accessible. The room was nice, shutters make it nice and dark. Bed was extremely hard, not painful but almost. Not very quiet either. Lots of walking/talking traffic below your windows."

The history of the building, the layout of the hotel, and the way it serves many purposes (restaurant, bar, study, event space, etc.), all made it a very unique and special place to be. A large supermarket and McDonalds nearby with around 8 minutes walk, very convenient when we wanted to cook dinner ourselves using the mini kitchen. Also near to Mestre train station with around 10 minutes walk, surrounded by many different hotels and you can feel that the road is safe "
