"Nice place "

"Good."

"The location is great and staff were friendly. We stayed for 3 nights. My husband and 2 x daughters. The room temp was fixed which meant sleeping was challenging as we were hot. This was a nightmare despite calls to reception we were destined to be in a stuffy room all night. No towels racks? Towels didn’t dry which meant we were constantly having to go to reception for rubbish towels. This wouldn’t have been an issue except housekeeping is only done once every three days. Never stayed in a hotel where the room is cleaned once every three days. We were overflowing with towels and rubbish. I don’t desire to do dishes on holidays. If I wanted that I would have booked an air b and b or serviced apartment. The spa was challenging as it shut at 9 not 10 as stated which meant we wasted time having to get staff up to open for us. There was no bar, no dining and servings of frozen food for the mini bar yuck. Plus at times the lobby and lift smell like actual faeces. The beds were so uncomfortable. It’s not actually a hotel is predominantly residential so expect it to be a bit strange and not a hotel experience. I could go on but you get my idea. Oh and parking is additional $30 a night. When you don’t even get your bed made that’s a bit rich. "

"Will definitely stay here agin, it is in a fantastic location with great food spots and the beach nearby. The rooms were spacious and comfortable."

"Property is run down and in poor condition. Zero in person contact at reception, only telephone calls. You need to phone on arrival to get key from lockbox. Room was old, door had been forced open at some point with crowbar, TV would not work, heater did not function, showerhead broken, security chain broken, deadlock bolts on both doors loose. Bed was comfortable however and parking available but that was only plus. Do not stay here. "

"I arrived after hours and the key retrieval was easy. During the stay the room was cleaned very well and the staff was always friendly and accomdating."

"Great location, nice view. Good big bed. Nice sunroom. Old fashioned but well maintained. Room is large with high ceilings. 130 years old, has a lot of character. Right in Devonport. Good price point. Would highly recommend"

"We found the staff to be very polite and helpful. The area has a wide variety of dining options but the main attraction is the beach."
